On the defence.

Gwazi then kicked the german in the guts and tossed him to the floor behind him yelling "Stay there you dirty dog!".

Waggoner grimaced as the englishman threw the driver down.
Just as he thought.
No respect.
At all.
Without a second thought, he raised his rifle.
Waggoner aimed it at Gwazi and pulled the trigger.

The bullet just missed Gwazi as he spun around behind cover and peeked over to rapidly fire towards Waggoner.

Nate jumped into the fight taking his M1 out and firing towards where the shot came from. After wasting his 8 bullets he ran to Gwazi.

"This is why you don't harm POWs. Or kill them, or take them without knowing if there are others."
Nate yelled grabbing the Nazi and pulling him behind cover. Last thing he wanted was Gwazi or him getting shot by the Nazi.

Waggoner ducked as the bullets whizzed overhead.
He needed a better place to hide.
But if he broke cover, the englishmen would shoot him...

Then he noticed the loader's fallen MP40 a few feet from where Waggoner was.
He quickly picked it up and shouldered his rifle.
Now it got tricky.
Throwing 2 grenades towards the soldiers, Waggoner broke cover and sprinted madly down the street.
Away from the enemy, while firing bursts from the MP40 in their direction.

Nate kicked away the grenades and chased the Nazi running away.

"Coward! Face me like a man!"
Nate yelled and fired his M1 at him.

The Nazi fired his MP40 just as Nate fired his M1. One of the bullets ripped into his belly sending him flying back. As he landed he squeezed off two more rounds before he couldn't see the Nazi. Then he groaned in pain trying to stop the bleeding.

Gwazi dove out of cover from the grenades and fired burst at Waggoner and then ducked behind a giant rock.

As the bullets flew over his head, Waggoner continued running. He turned to fire again, but the weapon only clicked.
He was out of ammo.
Throwing the useless weapon to the ground, he put on a new burst of speed.
Screw hiding in a building, he was getting out of this damn town.

As he heard a soldier yell back at him, Waggoner grinned. He spoke under his breath.
"Then why don't you come and get me you stupid english-"
He let out a sudden yell when a bullet struck him in his lower back.
The shot missed his spinal column, but went through his body. It caused him to crumple to the ground.

Gritting his teeth, Waggoner slowly got back to his feet and began limping down the street.

Gwazi chased Waggoner and when he saw him limping down the street calmly aimed his rifle at his head and fired one clean shot.

"FUCKING KILL HIM GWAZI!"
Nate yelled.

A bullet whizzed by Waggoner's head, missing him by an inch.
Limping even faster (which is about power walking speed mind you), he successfully made it into a ruined building.

Exhausted, he leaned up against a wall and sat on the ground. Clutching his wound, the Tank commander knew just exactly how this would end.
He drew his Walther.
If he was going down...
Then it was sure as hell going to be in style.

Gwazi chased after Waggoner into the building, his rifle out and he yelled "I know your here! Give up now and you're death will be painless!".

Waggoner rolled his eyes.
Typical.
Too afraid to enter the building and face a crippled tank commander.
Placing the pistol on his lap, Waggoner called out to the soldier.
"What's the point? I'm going to die anyway. At least come in here and face me like a true man."

Gwazi listened for the voice and tossed one of his frag grenades in that direction hoping to trap the wounded soldier with it in a smaller room.

"SHEISSE!"
Waggoner scrambled to his feet and managed to escape the grenade's explosion.
In a different corner, he picked up his pistol and waited.

English bastards...

Nate limped up. He was bleeding pretty bad but he could live through it. He then saw Gwazi up ahead and didn't stop to say hello. He went as fast as he could towards the back side of the building. There was two ways in.

Nate reached the building as a grenade exploded. He cursed as the blast knocked him down. Nate quickly got up and tried to load his M1. He was out of ammo.

"GO figure."
Nate muttered.

Nate took out his Colt and cocked it. Then he ran/fast walked into the building. He was met with the Nazi. Nate quickly raised his pistol and fired.

Waggoner was taken aback by the sudden appearance of Nate. He raised his Walther, but the englishman shot him in the chest.

Grimacing with the pain, Waggoner kept his back against the wall and slumped to the floor.
(So sitting against the wall.)
Breathing heavily, he spoke softly.
"Wait. Don't shoot. Not yet..."
He set the pistol down on his lap, but didn't take his hand off of it.
"How...How many of your friends... have I killed today?"

Gwazi walked in hearing conversation and aimed his rifle at the German's head and said "You've killed more than enough".

"You killed a 12 man squad, then five of my friends. Then another 20 or so. You killed more then your life is worth."
Nate said moving in close.

Nate grabbed Waggoner's hand holding the Walther and gripped it tightly. He pulled the gun from his hand.

"Now. Lets get that wound dressed."
Nate said.

Waggoner narrowed his eyes, but let Nate take the Walther from his hand.
"Why the sudden mercy?"

"Because you are no threat to us. I have no longer a reason to kill you."
Nate said as he pulled Waggoner up.

Waggoner winced as he was pulled to his feet.
"No threat..."
He looked Nate in the eye.
"Fine. I'll go with you."
And jerked his thumb at Gwazi.
"But not him. I don't like him very much."

Nate chuckeled. It hurt a lot.

"Why? I'm the one that shot you. Twice."
Nate said with a smile. He then looked to Gwazi.

"Go find a medic and meet us at the Town Hall."
Nate said and started walking with Waggoner.

As he got outside. He saw a few Nazis running away from the battlefield.

Waggoner shrugged.
"It doesn't matter to me. All bullets come from the same gun: The enemy's."
Following Nate's gaze, he noticed the retreating Nazis.
"They must have gotten the order to retreat. Figures. This assault was doomed from the start..."
