On the defence.

Gwazi nodded to Nate and said "It seems those Nazi's have flooded the town already...". Gwazi was just a private but he was friends with Nate and the squad followed orders knowing it was from Nate who was of high rank. A couple squads were blood enough to attack the tanks from the side coming out of alley's next to the roads they were riding on hoping to hijack them.

As the tanks headed down the roads, Waggoner noticed that there was barely any enemy soldier in sight. That was suspicious...
Usually, tanks were attacked with enough fire to wipe out a city.
Why were they not attacked?
Waggoner picked up the radio.
"Everyone, halt! Are there any soldiers on your streets?"
The other tanks both said no. Waggoner sighed.
"Then be extremely carefull. We might be walking into a trap. Remember, if anything gets on your tank, reverse like you've never reversed before!"

"If we don't get to the Town Hall we will be fighting four tanks with nowhere to hide! We need to go now!"
Nate said. Three Nazis ran down the rode with stolen allied weapons. A M1, a Springfeild and a B.A.R. The one with the B.A.R. fired right at Nate. Quickly Nate fired his M1 and hit him in the head. But not before Nate himself got shot in the left arm.

"NOW!"
Nate yelled and started retreating towards the Town Hall.

Gwazi fled to the town hall and with some men while others began ambushing the tanks from beside in the alley's climbing on top of them and trying to break the hatch open with grenades.

The three tanks rolled down the streets, with every crew member wondering why it was so damn quiet.
Then chaos erupted. Both Panzer IVs were ambushed by allied infantry, and Waggoner heard the commotion on the radio.
When the transmissions stopped, he picked up the radio.
"One, respond."
"We're ok, we killed all of them. Minor damage to trreads."
Waggoner sighed in relief.
"Two, respond."
"..................."
"Two! Respond!"
Nothing. Two was gone. Now it was just the Tiger and the lone Panzer IV.
Damn...

"Panther two is out!"
Nate called to Gwazi as he slid behind a caved in wall in the Town Hall.

"Gwazi! We need to set up some snipers in those houses over there!"
Nate said pointing towards two houses that had a great shot at charging Nazi soldiers.

Gwazi nodded and shouted "Snipers! On the houses now!". Sniper teams moved out as the infantry that destroyed the Panzer tank returned to the alley's to get ready to ambush the last one before moving on to the Tiger.

Waggoner was not happy. Two of his tanks were gone, and this blasted town wasn't even captured.
"One, the enemies seem to attack from the alleyways. I want your front MG pointed at one and a soldier out of the hatch, aiming at the other. If you are attacked, notify me and reverse."
"Got it."
Waggoner sighed and peered through the sight. He liked what he saw.
"Load a high explosive shell. We're firing at the town hall."
Soon a shell was loaded, and Waggoner pulled the trigger.
Direct hit.

Gwazi men ducked as the debris from the town hall fell and men started to panic shooting randomly at Nazi's unorganized like. Gwazi kept a cool head and hid waiting for a good time to get a group by surprise. The men in the alley's then decided to charge at the last Panzer Tank in one big wave hoping to overrun it with soldiers and the tank would have to way to fight off the thirty men.

Nate flew at the back wall of the Town Hall. The shell hit right in front of him. As he flew he managed to grab hold of a broken piece of metal sticking out from the ground. However, the metal had a sharp edge on one side and Nate cut his finger right off. As he fell to the ground he cursed in pain.

"We need some god damn RPGs!"
Nate yelled as he found a dead soldiers M1

Waggoner smirked as he saw a soldier go flying. He turned to his comerades.
"Load again."
Soon a shell was loaded, and Waggoner aimed at the town hall once again.
Suddenly his radio crackled to life.
"This is one! We've run into a heavy wave of soldiers. I estimate about thirty! We're engaging!"
In the distance, Waggoner could hear the machine gun fire as the Panzer IV fired at the advancing infantry. A few seconds later, he heard an explosion followed by a few screams.
Good. The tank knew how to defend itself.
"One, if they get to close to your tank they will overun you. Reverse and continue firing."
"Roger that!"
Waggoner turned his attention back to the town hall.
He pulled the trigger and sent another shell hurling towards the large building.

A couple soldiers were killed by the blast but the rest knew what they had to do and flooded the tank determined to take it down.

Nate could see the men attacking the tank go for the view port and let rip whatever gun they had on them.

"Gwazi! Those houses over there held anti-tank troopers. See if they are dead and if they have weapons!"
Nate yelled to Gwazi as he fired the M1.

Gwazi nodded and ran across the road as fast as he could diving through a broken window into the house. He landed with a thud and got up quickly and yelled back to Nate "There's two RPG's in here!".

Nate shook his head. Gwazi had alot to learn.

"God damnit kid! Two launchers or two fucking rockets?"
Nate yelled. Just then a bullet hit his helmet and bounced off.

Oh fuck me
Nate thought

The last thing Waggoner heard from tank One was gunshots and screams.
The Tiger was all that was left.
He dropped the radio and rubbed his eyes. As long as they weren't overun, they might get out of this alive.
"Load again."
Waggoner didn't fire.
He waited.

(OOC: Nate... Whatever you do right now DO NOT take that helmet off!)

Gwazi facepalmed himself and replied "Two launcers, four missles!".

"Good boy!"
Nate yelled

"Now get your ass over. COVERING FIRE!!!"
Nate yelled and him and three others fired. Some at the men, but Nate fired at the view port of the last tank. Trying his hardest to blind it.

Gwazi knew he couldn't cross the road in time with all these RPGs so he just loaded a rocket in one and aimed at the Tiger Tank through an open window before firing at it.

Nate was not so much pissed at Gwazi for not running but more for not waiting for Nate's orders. The Tiger was too much of a threat to attack without surrounding it. Nate wanted to have all four RPGs fired at once then hit it with foot troops.

"You fucking idiot!!!"
Nate yelled at Gwazi.

"Get your ass over here or I will shoot you myself!"
Nate yelled.

As the rocket flew through the air, Waggoner held his breath. Suddenly the tank reversed, causing the rocket to explode on the front.
Picking himself up, Waggoner looked over at the driver.
"Nice one. Damage?"
The other two crew members began assesing what the rocket had done.
"Our front is pretty banged up, but other than that everything's fine."
Waggoner sighed.
"Good."
With that, he peered through the sight for their assailant.
Waggoner's eye caught the soldier in the window, and he grinned.
Easy pickings.
"Aim the turret at the 1st floor window. Building on the right!"
The turret was soon aimed at Gwazi, and Waggoner turned to his crew members.
"As soon as I fire, deploy smoke launchers and back up. We're not getting caught by suprise again."
"Of course!"
Pleased, Waggoner turned his attention back to Gwazi and pulled the trigger.
Immediatly, the tank was surrounded by smoke and began reversing down the street.

Nate saw the RPG hit and do a good amount of damage.

"Kid! Reload and fire again!"
Nate yelled to Gwazi when the shell exploded.

Gwazi quickly grabbed the two rockets left over with the loaded launcer and ran out the door right before the tank blew up the front of the house. Gwazi hid in another house which was surrounded by other houses and waited there.
