Ashes to Ashes we all fall down.....

Ali wondered from Icos' reaction if he should wait to inform him about how the whole time the Coalition had been making pills to help fight fertility problems...but since the document with the information on how to make it was partially ruined they could only make the version which was 75% effective.

He ignored the feelings to tell him for now and took out a compass to see where east was.

I really don't have time to read through this now though cause school is soon, I'll post later tonight though)

(ooc- It never did for me either. Basically, we have just been sitting around in the cave shooting the breeze. Right now we are leaving the cave and the rain has stopped. I can't really summarize what all has been said, though, so if you want to know that, you will have to read through it.)

As they walked for days they finally reached the bunker where Ali put his hand up to motion them to stop. He then ducked down and pulled a red flag out of his pocket. He then motioned for Icos to drop his weapons and then he motioned the others to follow suit.

(Don't worry I am doing this for RP purposes nothing is going to happen)

Icos slung the rifle around over his head, his hair falling in a static mess afterward. The butt of the gun was placed on the ground, and Icos' left hand kept it balanced there. Elisa laid her carbine fully in the dirt, until a harsh glance from her brother sparked her to pick it up as he had his now. Icos anxiously adjusted his pack, but did not set it down. His free hand feigned to smooth over his shirt, if only to keep it near to the Ruger high in his holster.

(ooc- Don't forget about this, now, I'll become quite bored)

Marcus took the gun from the girl and put it on his shoulder only to help her out. He wondered what she would say. Ali stopped and motioned everyone to stop as he looked through his binoculars.

He saw the bunker entrance near the treeline about a quarter mile away. It will take about 10 minutes to get there.

Ali knew Marcus' infatuation with the girl was growing and he was probably just out to get his heart broken but it had been a while since he felt the feelings he had felt now....ever since his wife died from the flu...

Elisa's .45 was taken from her hand before she could notice Marcus reaching for it. She whipped around in such a flash, and violently ripped the carbine from the soldier. The 30-06 hovered in the air for an instant, thrown up by Icos' strong hand. It was caught in the crook of his arm, and a thick finger wrapped around the trigger.

The barrel went up against the soldier's chest, just below the collarbone. The blue steel barrel nestled in between the thick pads of a vest, and froze on Marcus' skin. Elisa ducked under Icos' arm, sweeping in behind him. The pack fell to the ground with a splash of mud and rain as Elisa undid the clips holding it to Icos' back. He stood straighter now, at his full intimidating height, with his brow creased in fury and his blue eyes burning. "We are not giving up our guns."

Ali raised his rifle and said," I need you to at least remove your clips from your firearms. The snipers at the bunker are going to fire at anyone not wearing a Coalition insignia."

He motioned for Marcus to back up, so marcus slowly backed up and pulled out a water bottle with what looked like liquid dirt and took a drink. He then said," Someone is coming from the bunker....looks like Riley."

(ooc- there is always someone named Riley in every military story.)

Instinctually, Elisa dropped to a knee behind Icos. Leaning around him, she lifted her own carbine towards Ali. "No," Icos called out. "we won't unload anything. In fact, I think that it is about time that we leave."

Elisa looked up to her brother in surprise, taking eyes off of the threatening Ali. "Icos, what about help with the maps and ammunition and food," She spoke in pleading. "You said that they could help us, and that we needed their help."

"It was a bad idea for us to follow them. I will not be going defenseless in the presence of someone that I don't trust."

She turned her aim back to the Coalition commander. "Then where will we go?" In the back of her mind, she knew that all Icos did was what he thought was best for her protection, but she also knew all too well how unreasonably wary he was of the Coalition, and anyone from the East. It wasn't wise to put too much trust in these soldiers, she knew that much, but they were all warriors, all fighting for the same survival. It was only a lack of trust, not real danger, that had created the situation in which she found herself now.

"Back the way we came. Back into the city, map what we can, then get back to Jenisen." Icos' mind dwelled now on the documents folded and stowed away in his pocket.

Ali didn't feel much threat from the girls carbine. If he died it would only end the suffering he was going through...he should of never slept with that girl...diseases spread way to fast no a days. He then turned his head to Riley who stopped in her tracks. He took some water out of his back and slowly put it on the ground. He then took out a bag full of miscellaneous ammunition and said," Take what you need...if you will not follow then I guess there is no convincing you otherwise."

Marcus walked passed Riley and continued toward the bunker.
