Korto wasn't sure if a few hours was good or bad timing for his arm. But either way he won so he didn't care. Then all of a sudden Zane came in just as the smoke cleared away.

He was obviously upset, Since he kept yelling "What the hell is going on!?".

Korto replied,
Well I just advanced to the third round. Sorry if that woke you up, I forgot what time it was.

Zane calmed down a bit when Ejii wrapped her arms around him from the thrill of the fight and he said "It wasn't the fight that woke me, it was the smoke coming in through the vents... I gota talk to Duvnar about how much he's paying you".

"Oh yeah.....sorry about that. I'll pay for it to be cleaned.....So lets change the subject....before I fight anyone else, can I get some sleep? My arm is kinda dead....plus if I get to sleep you can't talk me into paying for this mess..."
Korto added this last part very quietly.

Zane sighed and said "This 9:00 AM now Korto, it's morning... go ahead, but don't think you'll get out of paying for the mess". Korto should of learn by now that one of Zanes enhancements was better hearing. He then left to go get some breakfeast and Ejii followed him leaving Korto alone.

As Korto walks towards his bed he see's Gwazi walking around on a crutch, he looked up at Korto and said "Good fight, I think my dad was wrong about you. Your pretty tough". He then noticed his arm and said "Did Ejii get your arm or something?".

Korto just did a face palm when he realized Zane heard him. He then quickly went off to his room. He was met by Gwazi who was on crutches.
"Good fight, I think my dad was wrong about you. Your pretty tough".

"Thanks kid. Glad someone else doesn't underestimate me! I can't really tell what Zane thinks....Yeah Ejii got me in the arm with one of those blasters.....but its nothing compared to your leg! Hows that feeling by the way?"

Gwazi looked down at his leg in a cast and said "It ain't so bad, the bones healing pretty quickly though. Also I've heard Zane talking with Duvnar, he thinks you've got skills but he won't tell you cause he wants you to try harder. It's basically the same as Duvnar's doing only Duvnar goes out of his way to push you even further... Kind of like what they did with me, I think the only reason the lighten up now is cause I'm still a kid and knew more than what a solider in the empire should know".

"Well your a very tough kid....with some crazy quick reflexes. When Duv and Zane get through with you, you'll be a monster....and you just wait. Once I figure out how to disarm Duvnar I can take him. But I won't be able to take on anyone with this arm, sooooo I'm going to get some sleep."

Korto said as h was about to leave. If Gwazi was done talking he'd be going to sleep.

Gwazi just shrugged and said "Thanks" and moved on towards the lounge room to get something to eat. As Korto went to get some sleep he could over hear Gwazi say "Ejii what you making?" and heard Ejii reply "Pancakes".

-Time Jump-

Once Korto woke up he found his arm was no longer numb, but someone was standing by the door, it was Zane and he said "Before we discuss you paying for the damages you caused I want to ask why are you so eager to challenge everyone? To the point you damaged the ship and broke Gwazi's leg".

Korto groaned quietly as he got up. He his arm felt perfect again. He couldn't tell how long he'd been out. When he looked up he saw Zane standing in the door way.
Oh shoot the Vampire is going to kill me! I knew he was upset abut Gwazi!!

Korto took a deep breath and then replied.
"Well first of all, Duv set this entire thing up. If I had it my way, Gwazi would've never been involved. Secondly.....i think I let Duvnars badmouthing get to me. I hate losing. Where I was raised losing meant you were caught, beaten and then they made you tell them where to find your friends, so they could beaten too.

Duvnars has just been talking so kriffin much about that one fight in the bar. To me it feels like everything he says is a poke at that fight.......and thirdly, as for damaging the ship...I didn't realize the smoke bombs would be that thick and last that long, plus I never used them inside before...But don't worry I will pay for it."

Zane listended to Korto clamly and said "Hmm, well I do know how Duvnar can get at times. But also from what we saw before your fight with Gwazi we didn't think you could handle Ejii yet, heck without those smoke bombs you probably couldn't. Speaking about those the repairs are 10,000 credits. We need to purify the air so smoke isn't coming out of the vents every ten minutes".

Korto smiled at one of Zanes comments
"Without those blasters she wouldn't have stood a chance. Without that Sword Duvnar wouldn't stand a chance. Smoke bombs and stealth are my thing. Just like everyone has a thing."

Then Korto remembered the part about 10k being the cost of the repairs.
"Well i'll....pay it...i have to."

Zane shrugged and said "True, but smoke bombs are awfully limited and enemies can see through smoke with the right equipment. Not to mention your still vurnable if they do find you. Granted swords and blasters aren't perfect either but they have more things to fall back on. Also we'll take the 10k off your next payment".

Well When I run into those people who have the gear to see through the smoke I plan on having a little surprise for them.....in fact speaking of them I need your help.
I'm looking for a someone who specializes in making creative gear...an inventor. Do you know anyone?

Zane just looked at Korto for a minute and said "Who do think made the training droids, custom blasters for Ejii and ship enhancements here? What do you need me to work on?".

Korto just shrugged and then stated what he wanted.

"I need some one to make me contacts that can let me see through smoke like what i used, mist, fog and in the dark.
And I need a certain type of armor that can take a point blank shot from normal blaster rifle without taking damage that still allows me my normal range of movement and that doesn't weigh me down........as far as I know I'd need a miracle worker."

Zane listened to the request and responded "The goggles we got a spare pair of in the armoury. As for the armor we would need some very heavy duty echani armor, I could try to make something like it but the materials needed would cost about a million credits to get".

Zane thought for a moment and said "Not sure, it's a lot of technology to transfer to such a small thing, but I could. It would take a month or two however, unless if you wanted to go cyborg but that has to many hazards involved to consider". Zane remeberred one cyborg friend he and Duvnar had, no has heard of him for a long time, probably somewhere on Naboo with his wife and daughter living a normal life.

Zane replied to Korto "The contacts will take a month or two, as for the armour I can make it, It's just expensive and we don't have that kind of credits, and yes it would be nice to eat something". The two walked into the lobby to where Ejii was now making grilled cheese for lunch, Gwazi was already eating some while Duvnar was out on business. Ejii turned to the two and said "Your awake finally, your lunch was getting cold". She pointed to two plates on the table with the grilled cheese on it. As Zane walked by Ejii grabbed his arm and kissed him on the cheek quickly as he passed.

Nate had tracked Duvnar across the galaxy for his last time. He had taken his Marauder into orbit and a R-41 down to Duv's ship. Now was the time.

Nate took out a bag. He got out of his ship and put on his nicest DON'T SHOOT! smile. He knocked on Duv's ship's door and waited for a response.

"I wish to speak with Duvnar. I have something very important with him. Let's just say, "old disagreements" that i feel should be resolved."
Nate told Zane, knowing one slip and he would be as good as dead.
