3. Escort

Duvnar responed to Korto "Like anyone could, Gwazi's a tough kid. Even tougher than you, your more likely to get kidnapped boy". Gwazi just looked at Korto and nodded in dissapointment at him.

Korto was getting a little irritated.

"First of all you do realize that I'm older than him right? Second of all, just because you beat me, with a sword doesn't mean you can beat me in something I'm good at, unarmed combat. Third, just because your training me and sparring with me doesn't mean you can go all "master" on me."


He needed to vent a little.
Losing the fight with Duv had hurt his pride and confidence a lot.

It was good Korto was venting but if he was to survive in the real world he needed to learn not to insult his superiors, expecially the dangerous ones. He kicked Korto to the ground and point his sword at his neck and said "Age means nothing in true battle, and learn your place boy".

Drop the sword and say that!!!

Korto thought angrily. He rolled backwards out of the swords reach. He reached for a smoke bomb, and paused. He took a quick deep breath and stopped.

"Your right. I'll "learn my place." Lets just get on with this mission."

One day I'll take your sword then we'll see whos learning their place.

Duvnar put his sword back and said "Good... now Helix, let's get going now thats all sorted out".

Frowns and exits the Ahadi Habab, only to swerve and veer through the corridors to the outside landing pad. There, he pointed to the 4-seater speeder and got in the driver's seat, "Everybody get in."

Helix had goten in a speeder that could only fit four people when there was six of them total. Duvnar said "Ok, some people have to share a seat then, let's go". Duvnar sat in the passangers seat next to Helix with Gwazi on top, Zane sat down in the back with Ejii on him while Korto sat in the back beside Zane.

Korto didn't enjoy being packed this tightly, but he just looked out the window and counted the seconds til the ride was over.

Helix drove the awkward filled speeder through tunnels and pass skyscrapers, eventually landing it in a landing bay in the middle of a large skyscraper. He stepped out of the speeder and made it into the club, which was less quiet but more...seedier than the Ahadi Habab.

He turned to Duv and whispered, "Duvnar, inconspicuously make sure nobody leave while I find Sierra."

((inconspicuously means no taking out guns and threatening people who try to leave...))

Duvnar shrugged at Helix's request and said "I make no promises". He then approached the others and said "Helix wants us to make sure no one leaves, but no pulling out weapons unless if it's a last resort".

"You got it!"
Korto said as he spread his arms out, showing them that he as unarmed. He then walked into the club and was bombarded with music. He took a seat right by the door and pretended to be looking at the dancers.
(He actually was looking, but was also watching the door )

Duvnar and Zane seperated to guard the other two doors. Ejii went with Zane and Gwazi followed to Kortos spot. Gwazi sat across from Korto and said "Checking out the entertainment huh?".

Duvnar was calmly guarding a door with his foot against the wall blocking the door way. At Zanes he just watched calmly while Ejii sat next to him resting her head on his shoulder.

Laughed laughed a little. This little kid shouldn't even be here! On my planet he'd be watching cartoons right now.

"Maybe I am Gwazi. I gotta stay in Character. Either way, trust me, its nothing you'd be interested in for a few more years, any way."

Gwazi smirked and said "You really haven't been paying attention then have you? When your raised in a criminal family you get to learn things much sooner than the normal person".

(OOC: You'll find 10 year old Gwazi here is more open to love interest than 15 year old Gwazi on combine. The reason for that is Gwazi blames love interest as the reason for his fathers disappearance on combine but since on here Duvnar is fine and well he has nothing to blame such things for).

Korto smiled at the kid.
"Gwazi, theres a thing called puberty. And maybe when your raised with criminals you may think your interested in girls...but trust me your haven't seen or felt anything yet. You can't rush puberty."

And trust me when the girl you like and try really hard to talk to ignores you, and seems to like your friend a lot more than you. You will wish that you never wet through it.


((OOC: Speaking from experience here on the last part!!!!))

Gwazi replied to Korto and said "I guess, but it dosen't matter. I've never made it a big pirority anyways. By the way did you see Zane and Ejii? I think their up to something, they've been acted a bit odd around each other for weeks now".

Gwazi knew Korto was right and responded "Wait? He does? OH MY FUCKING GOD HE'S A VAMPIRE!!! Oh course she knows, we all do. Did you seriously think you knew something like that about him without the rest of us knowing?".

(OOC: Don't post anything about people overhearing that. Gwazi said it quietly enough for only you to hear it).

"I was being sarcastic!! And besides, I would think most girls would be turned off by that. Now excuse me one moment." Korto said as he smoothly stuck his leg out to trip someone who was about to leave. "I'm sorry sir!" He said as he helped the man up and moved him to a seat deep in the bar. He then came back and sat back down at his table.

Once Korto had sat down again Gwazi replied to his last comment "Not Ejii, but I always though the two saw each other as brother and sister, I wonder what changed all the sudden with them".

Helix traversed through the club, eventually ascending up stairs to the private rooms, banging the doors open until he found the black haired escort he was looking for and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and lead her through the bar, "We need to get out. Now."

Duvnar punched a man in the gut making him fall unconcious while trying to leave the bar. He then saw Christain dragging a girl around and approached him, he then said "This the escort?". The others saw as Zane and Ejii caught up to them along with Gwazi after saying to Korto "Looks like we're leaving".

Yep Korto said as he stood and followed the group out....He knew that the law would probably be here soon.
